In October 2021 we launched a new project for Black History Month called I’m History, Get me out of here. A fantastic group of experts championed 8 Black Britons and introduced them to school students across the country.
We are running the project again in 2022. We are looking for someone to help us recruit a group of experts and with them decide which Black Britons should be featured in the zone.
Project Coordinator Job Description
It’s 15 days work between now and the end of October 2022. We’re looking for someone who already knows and understands Black British history and who knows and understands the community of historians in academia and elsewhere who might participate in the project.
The job can be done remotely after an initial in-person meeting.
We’re paying £200 per day inclusive of holiday pay.
