Politics in the UK is malfunctioning. It used to be said that politics is the art of compromise, but recent experience would suggest that polarisation is the key to success in winning elections.
In our view that does not lead to a healthy democracy. It is not a viable long-term position for our country.
We, the people, need to show politicians and their advisors, that polarisation will not work any more.
Our experience as a company lies in online schools engagement and that is where we think we can make a difference.
We’ve pulled together a group of experts to find a way of making a difference:
- Dr Ben Bowman – Lecturer at Manchester Centre for Youth Studies
- Gill Kirk – Scriptwriter and political consultant
- Simon Starr – Ruby Developer
- Lindsay Keith – Filmmaker and Creative Research Fellow
Our plan is to test, pilot and roll-out the Political Compromise Promise, our online cross-curricula programme that will help heal our democracy through helping young people learn how to gain power.
