Hello, I’m Bella, I joined the I’m a…projects after doing an internship with UWE Bristol. Now that I’ve completed my studies and have my masters in Science Communication, I have been working full-time and enjoyed supporting all the projects. I always enjoyed science when I was younger but was very much discouraged with people telling me it wasn’t for me. A project like this would have meant a lot to me when I was little, so I am so glad to be involved in I’m a Scientist now.
I look after and recruit the scientists, engineers and other STEM professionals for our activities, as well as look after some of the evaluation once our activities are finished. I love seeing the interactions between STEM professionals and students.
When I’m not working, I mostly swim, more specifically I do synchronised swimming. Which I have done for quite some time now and absolutely love!
